My bridesmaids and flower girls, along with my mom had a brunch in the church's fellowship hall. We had pancakes, grits, breakfast casserole, fruit, pastries, and beverages. It was a nice time to get together before walking down the aisle a few hours later.
The girls and I headed over to the house that I grew up in to start getting ready. We made Mimosas and started getting our hair done. Lori and Martha Jo did an amazing job on everyone's hair!
Afterwards, it was time to get make-up done and put on THE dress.
(Bridesmaids sliding dress over my hair...and veil... scary)
(my mom zipping up the dress...bridesmaids crying...)
The girls and I sat around waiting for 2:55, the moment we needed to walk to the church. I couldn't wait to see Nate... (although someone posted a pic on instagram ).
3:00...The parents and grandparents walk in...the bridal party walks in...then the most precious flower girls EVER!
(Mckenna, Addison, and Emmy...wearing TOMS!)

The first time that I saw Nate, I fell in love all over again. He is so handsome, especially this day! My dad walked me down the aisle, the congregation sang "How Great Thou Art," we said our vows, we exchanged rings, lit the unity candle, and kissed.

We went to Iron City Place in Blacksburg for our reception. We danced to "Marry Me" by Train. My dad and I danced to "Isn't She Lovely." Nate and his mom danced to "What a Wonderful World." We quickly grabbed some food since we were starving...and the party started. We danced to every line/group dance ever made (or that's what it felt like). I LOVED our cake from Publix! I loved smashing it in Nate's face... I can't wait to eat our strawberry layer a year from now!
I can't WAIT to continue this blog to remember sweet newlywed times and growing old together.
